Durga is a band born from the desire to create music free from stereotypes, with death metal roots but a strong spirit of experimentation. The project took shape in 2018 thanks to the collaboration between Jacopo and Pietro, the creative core that defines the group's identity. Despite the young lineup, the band quickly established itself in the Tuscan underground scene, performing at major events such as FollSonica Big Night, Margini Fest, and Firenze Metal.

In November 2025, they released their first EP, From Dust To Dust, featuring complex, dynamic, and unconventional songs that fully represent their aesthetic: powerful, authentic, and constantly evolving. Durga is a metal project that never stops evolving, driven by instinct, research, and creative energy.
